Prepping for Founder’s Day

Union, Missouri – Want to join Union Parks & Recreation Department (UPRD) for Founder’s Day on Saturday, June 2 at City Park, located at 500 West Park Avenue, as a crafter, food/snack vendor or sponsor? The annual special event’s ultimate goal is to bring the community together to celebrate the beautiful city.

The Craft Sale will run from 9am-6pm. The fee is $30 for first booth. The booth space is 10’ x 10’ and does not include anything additional; shade structure, table and chair are recommended to be brought. Space is assigned on first come, first serve basis and will not be changed. Set-up will begin at 7am and conclude at 9am. Crafters must stay set-up until 6pm. UPRD reserves the right to refuse any craft for sale due to suitability.

UPRD is looking for food/snack vendors to serve guests during the event from 11am-9pm. The price of booth depends on type of organization: $25 for Youth, Church & Student Organizations, $100 for Civic Organizations and $175 for Food Truck/Business. No duplicate item offerings will be allowed.

Community support is needed to make the event a success. This can be accomplished through sponsorships. Sponsors will be recognized in flyers, press releases and signage during the event. For contributions of $250 or more, individuals/companies will be placed on the back of the event shirt and receive two as a thank you. These shirts will be worn by employees and volunteers.
