Founders Day Festivities

Union, Missouri – The annual Founder’s Day event is on Saturday, June 2 from 7:30am-midnight at City Park, located at 500 West Park Avenue. The annual special event, sponsored by Union Parks & Recreation Department (UPRD) and local businesses, has an ultimate goal of bringing the community together to celebrate the beautiful city.

The festivities will feature the Union Area Chamber of Commerce 5K/10K, Kiwanis & United Bank of Union 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, breakfast, petting zoo, family games, rock wall, giant twister, photo booth, balloon sculpting, face painting, open swim for $1 at Splash -n- Swimplex, turtle races (for box turtles only), pedal tractor pull, craft sale, food/snack vendors, beer garden and live music entertainment that will last until midnight by Starlighters, Paul Cockrum Trio and The Tall Poppies.
